Dr. Gabriela Ibarguchi is the Founder and Owner of Living Corridor, a registered Canadian business focusing on applied conservation, education, and environmental sciences. With expertise in ecology, evolution, conservation, population genetics, biogeography, environmental and health sciences, Gabriela has been conducting field and lab-based research for over 20 years, with teaching, program management, technical writing, and community engagement as pillars in her career.

Gabriela has also investigated population connectivity, speciation, mating systems, reproductive success, adaptations to harsh environments, dispersal, ecology, diet, and natural history. She has collaborated with cross-sectorial partners, government agencies, the non-profit sector, and with local and international communities, from the circumpolar Arctic to Tierra del Fuego, working on monitoring programs and on long-term studies tracking environmental change.
